Do you guys think it is a good idea to powder your love handles to reduce chafing during the summer. I am concerned that when the slabs of skin rub together, the dampness from sweat will cause chafing but hope that powder will help. What do you think?

Butter them instead. They will slide right off each other.

Reason #10,000,001 that I don't work in healthcare:
A friend of mine who works in a Seattle area ER told me about a fat woman who arrived complaining of pain in her side...during the physical exam they discovered a sandwich that had been tucked into a fat fold for so long that an abscess had developed around it. The patient had no recollection of the sandwich.

One of my friends in medical school used to be an EMT. He had the absolute best stories (and is an entertaining story teller to boot).
To this day I don't know if he's lying but he swears he saw a roach come out of a woman's cooch.
