Uh, for the most part an engine's an engine. The tuning is what determines the application. How do you know any given engine Ford designs is not a car engine and they tune it up (which I'm assuming is the opposite of the "de-tuning" you allege) to put them in trucks? Most manufacturers use variations of the same engine for different applications. Remember the 454 Chevy going into both Corvettes and trucks in the 60's and 70's? Yeah, stoopid GM giving the LS6 Corvette a truck engine. That sure made that car suck. If only it had a proper "car" engine.

Lol

If you just bought gas and drove onto the highway to run out the tank, wouldn't your car's computer be showing highway mileage? Lol, silly everyone else and their logic.

Some of the car magazine reviews say the headroom is tight for anyone over 5'10" -- not good for a large 4000 lb car.

The Ford Taurus, or the mysteries of the American mind.

I mean no offense either, but in order to make your statement you have to offer something more than just an emotional stake in Ford. As oppose to posers who like to chat about cars I owned a car dealership and owned more cars in 15 years than an average person dreames to own in their lifetime.

Johhny, out of curiosity and just for giggles: "How often have you done just that using sports car?"

I'm actually not all that excited about the SHO other than the styling and high horsepower. My debate is not with the car itself, but that you keep presenting fals information with little or no proof. How is a twin turbocharged 3.5L V-6 a truck engine? By that same logic, did the old Nissan 350Z suck because it shared a tuned version of the VQ design with their minivan? Or does the Panarama stink because it shares engines with the Cayenne? In fact BMW, Mercedes, etc. all have cars in their arsenal who's engines are split between cars and SUV/truck chassis's. BTW.....from my experiences, not all dealers or salesman are car people (or have a complete knowledge about their product). To some, it is a business, not a hobby or interest.
