I've been a fan ever since Reasonable Doubt, but the new Jay-Z doesn't really impress me. He does have a hit now, but thats because of Rihanna and Kanye West. Have there been any new releases from the BP3 besides Run this town and DOA?

CORRECT.

Jay is overrated but he has atleast one classic album and a few others that were good. Relative to the rest of the industry Jay is still one 2 or 3 best rappers around. I have to say I didn't enjoy the Black Album nor American Gangster all that much.

Never said you did.

BTW, you can not be named Kanye and not have Kanye in your avatar.

Yeah I havent been impressed either. His rhymes just arent as creative anymore. If anyone puts up an arguement that American Gangster was hot they should be banned. And what is this crap with people still comparing Nas to J?! The rappers squashed the beef, the fans should too!

His music quality might be going down. But the guy is a brilliant businessman and an amazing American success story.

Rap is not my thing but I definitely respect Jay-Z.

Maybe he's devoting a lot more time to his businesses and other interests than to his personal music production.
