Any good car forums? - Page 2

For general stuff I like Piston Heads. Otherwise I mostly go to forums dealing with a particular car or a particular car scene in my area.

For the BMW guys:

E30:
r3vlimited.com
e30tech.com

E36:
bimmerforums.com

E46:
e46fanatics.com

E90:
e90fanatics.com
e90post.com

M3:
s14.net
m3forum.net

General BMW (with dedicated subsections to different models)
bimmerforums.com
bimmerfest.com
roadfly.com (not as good anymore)

Think I got all the major ones. All of them are heavily trafficked.

Actually I'd prefer a site more focused on Chevies, Chryslers, etc. American small timer vehicles.

Then why didn't you say that to begin with.
Whatever this isn't even a discussion this is a example of one persons inability to understand what google is for.

getting completely off topic because the topic sucks...

Has anyone looked at the prices on exotic cars lately? They have dropped to ridiculous levels. I am still planning on getting a xkr in january but I am gonna talk them down 80 grand or I will walk out and get a second hand Aston. V8 Vantage with less then 10k miles are selling for 75-80k. I have heard of new Murcelagos selling for 170k recently. If you got the money you should buy your dream car pretty soon.

Aston is so much cooler than a Jag. No idea how the drive compares, I'm just talking cool factor alone.

Vantage for 75-80K= good deal, post pics incorporating lots of smoke if you get one. I will say though that for 75-80 you could get a 911 Turbo which is a better car, but I am biased

I agree.

Or a GT3, which is better yet! (Depending on your priorities)

I used to browse carspin.net many years back when I still had an avid interest in cars. They had subforums for every topic you'd need.

Must car forum focus on something, personally a BMW fan, so only went to those ones. What do you like?

Like someone said above bimmerforums.com is a great forum. I also like northamericanmini.com.

When I had honda I got TONS of great info off of honda-tech.com.
Really good maintenance info, and it managed to be above all that tacky import car stuff (which was a feat at the time).

Not sure what it's like now, if it's even around anymore, it may have been close to that tipping point boards/forums reach when they develop enough of a culture that more people are there to talk current events, make insides jokes to each other and mock others than whatever they set out to do.
