just when you come to terms with what a fucking ugly car the veyron is, they go and release this

the veyron may be a technological marvel when it comes to point-to-point straight-line acceleration, but it is a pretty terrible car in all other respects. nothing more than a rocket on wheels

bring back the mclaren f1

Actually, I've read the opposite opinion in quite a few reviews.
Clearly, the Veyron is no MX-5 or Lotus Elise - it's not a light car.
However, it still handles damned well in the bends and has the capability to accelerate out of corners at a blindingly fast rate of knots.

Is there a requirement when you buy one that it has to be painted two-tone? I think that is a big part of their fugliness.

As far as super cars go, I think the Veyron is a good design. The two tone paint is a Bugatti thing.

Your post couldn't be farther from the truth. Not only is (was) it the fastest production car ever made, it was also extremely luxurious, quiet, comfortable and easy to drive. Nothing has come close to being as well rounded as the Veyron while on the edge of the performance envelope. In fact, your statement about it being nothing more than a rocket on wheels would apply much more accurately to the McLaren that you want to be brought back.

I think the Veyron is one of the best modern cars. The 2-tone paint is especially nice.

2-tone is also an homage to Bugatti's history, as most old Bugs are 2-tone.

Even Gordon Murray was critic of Veyron before production begin, but after he said that it is good car. But McLarenF1 is still an overall nicer car to me, I wish McLaren would make P11 with driver seat in middle and 60/40 all wheel drive.
