How can I stop from getting ridiculous bike hair. I ride to class and the wind just make it look retarded. Using american crew forming cream, not even close to holding it. In the winter I just wear a beanie and thats fine.

not really sure there's a solution other than not riding, or packing some hair stuff with you to touch yourself up upon arrival

you may be too vain for bikes

i used to ride and this is common prob.
Wat i did was, cut it short and unkempt hairstyle, suitable for bikers.

Just stop caring so much.

Or

Wear a helmet like a good boy. No sarcasm here at all. Wear a helmet - it will save your face, aka your life, when you crash.

+1. Your hair doesn't get messed up when it's covered.

I fixed this problem after much trial and error.

1. Style your hair as usual in the morning.
2. Ride your bike.
3. Go to bathroom at your destination and fix your hair with same hair gel/pomade you usually use. (Keep it in your bag or your office). You should be able to achieve the same look with minimal effort.

Problem solved! Not only does it protect your hairstyle, it also protects your head if you're in an accident!

MrG, I thought of that scrubs episode before posting. Exactly what I need.

Helmets though, at least the one I have, just make it worse. There are lines in the helmet so it makes for some awesome looking hair. I agree that I should were it more often, just incase.

I'll probably go the shorter hair route (its medium short right now), and fix it in the bathroom. I'm usually running late though so it will just be flying out everywhere for my first couple classes.

I don't think it's possible. The only way to prevent it is to either have : a) really good hair genes. hair that you can slick back all sexy and the like. b) really short hair c) a hat

This should not matter, if your hair look like it was messed by wind and your female student colleagues know that this is because of bicycle ride maybe they will be turned on!

I don't understand why you can't just carry a plastic pocket comb and touch up your hair when you reach your destination. Is your hairstyle so complicated that you can take a few seconds to do this?
