I was very lucky and got a set of Ironmaster DB's (up to 120 lb, or is it 125 lb?) with stand, the Ironmaster bench with the dip, pull-up, and sit-up stand attachments for $200 off Craigslist. Super heavy-duty stuff. The only thing I didlike is the square shape of the DB's. I often find that when I do some speed moves like the snatch, C&J, and the swing, I feel the square edges of the weights digging into my wrists. I deal with it, but it is a negative.

I have a great garage gym with all the trimmings, but in the winter, I'll move the Ironmaster stuff into my bedroom and get a great workout in very little space.

You do DB swings..?

IMO Powerblocks are the best adjustable DBs. I bought mine years ago and still love them. Most of all I love the fact that the set I bought accepts up to two 1.25 lb cylinders in each handle, in case hardgainers like me cannot increase the weight by 5 lb increments.

Ironmasters can go go up by 2.5lbs as well (just put a 2.5lb weight on 1 side of the db only). In any case you can get the magnetic weight add ons for any type of dumbbell to get 0-2.5lb increments.

I do. I know they are a KB staple, and I have some KB, but I do them just as often with DB's. I can usually squeeze my 2 hands together enough to make it comfortable enough.
