looks quite versatile to me. I suppose you can brush it for occasion or add a bit of wax to spice it up? ha i had it like that long, same kind of thickness but i cut it shorter now. Just for preference.

Let it grow out a little bit, and then get it cut short again. Keep the sideburns long, shorten the length of the sides and the top a little bit. Add some texture.
