I can almost imagine the scene... "Supervisor: Hey! You! Stop there! What is the deal with all the guys in the suits torque steering the haulers? Who is responsible for this? Hey. Hey. HEEEEEY! Stop that!" Err, I think I may have been watching Arrested Development too intently

Technically you would probably have to talk to J, he's the office manger and might be able to work out a price for dump truck rides.

It's not really the manliest dump truck, it's way too easy to drive in my opinion. Just a big Chevy pickup with a 6x10 (I think) dump bed and a box built on the back. You do have to use the mirrors to back it though, which is manly.

Now THAT is a manly response!

VMan, yeah I know exactly what you mean. This sort of thing draws a lot of guys who are compensating one way or another. One of them got my old range closed, the ---. j, props, man. Vacuum lines are the bane of my automotive existence. skag, well I'm not ripped like alot of the guys here are, so don't sweat it. If you're sufficiently obsessive about breaking the rock, you can swing the bloody hammer pretty hard. Dump trucks (of any stripe) are still hardcore. Perhaps this goes back to tonka days. You know, if no one has done it yet (I'd be surprised if someone hadn't tried) this would be a great starting point for a Man Summer Camp. Get a place out in the desert (maybe near Vegas), buy a bunch of old "real Tonka" trucks and equipment like that, get some automatic weapons, camping facilities, etc. It would be a popular destination for bachelor parties.
