Rapper Shyne to be released from prison this October

So far he's served 8 years of his 10 year sentence. He was originally arrested after, at least from what I remember at the time (I was a huge fan), for shooting a woman in the face. I believe a guy came over to him and Diddy and basically said they were trash, and they weren't gangsters (apparently he was quite wrong on that one), they were just rich douches. P Diddy shows his weapon, and I guess Shyne took that as code for "start shooting randomly in a crowded night club". The rest is history.

I'm definitely looking forward to what he does when he gets out, considering pretty much every song he's recorded has been awesome. My friend actually still has a ringtone on his phone from Shyne's CD released in 2000.

Rumor has it he's going to be signed with Jay-Z, but no one has confirmed that as of yet.

he was always good and pdiddy fucked him over hard. totally threw him (and his bodyguards) under the bus to keep his ass out of trouble

I havent been following his career but wasnt he signed to No-Limit? I could never get past the fact that he tried to sound like BIG the way Lil Zane tried to be Pac around 2k.

Criminal scum!

If you're a Saint or a Sinner you revert to criminal scum when you shoot women in the face. With the kind of lawyers he had and the case being in NYC I'm sure he wasn't railroaded either.

the man did a song with Barrington Levy, what's not to like? Also, rnoldh, you are no less of a piece of scum when you shoot a woman in the face than when you shoot a man in the face.

Sean better get involved with his living arrangements (if not already taken care of) the minute he sets foot on free ground. That said, I wonder if he even wants anything to do with the career killer. I think not.
