MTV teen cribs

Anyone catch this show?

I'm deeply envious of the little shits mainly because I grew up in houses the size of their boat homes or their living rooms but some of these pads are ridiculous. I would probably never leave home if I lived in a place like that and live Howard Hughes style.

Anyone know how much these places are worth and what did their parents do to get them? I think I caught the episode where the father was the founder of USA today or some shit like that.

Something to aspire to

I want to punch everyone of those kids except the one kid who is like a genius and actually helps his father engineer stuff. The other kids are spoiled brats.

Can't say I have watched MTV since about 92.

Tony Stark is on it?

I watched a couple episodes, but usually turn them off fairly quickly when I realize just how spoilt those kids are.

I watched this one though where the dad had built his daughter this like insane two storey bedroom/lounge for her and her friends with plasma TV's surround sound etc, then she showed the room she decorated and I mean it was horrible. Like pinks and yellows, and all these posters and pictures bluetacked to the wall. If I had enough money to do something like that, I would not then let my daughter decstroy it.

What is there to be envious of? Tacky, cheap, "pimped-out" McMansions which will likely be foreclosed on soon, anyhow?

The houses on teen cribs are actually better than the regular MTV cribs. Not gonna lie, I'd take one of those McMansions in a second.

I have hired those children to show off my various houses around the world for MTV.

And I'd sell one in a second for a mid-sized, sensible, older construction home in a nicer area.

Aren't those homes in some of the most exclusive neighborhoods? Half of them have their own beaches and oceanviews. How much "nicer" can you get?

Wha?

Those are not McMansions. Tony Soprano lived in a McMansion.

These little shits live in something way much nicer than 99% of the people in this country.

I've only seen one episode; I wasn't impressed. There were no episodes filmed in Rumson or Ruxton, I would imagine.

I'm not talking about size or expense; more a matter of the quality of construction, design, and the like.

I don't have a problem with enormous wealth or even conspicuous spending of it... but what kind of parents lets their child go on MTV to brag about their house?
