Question to lawyers: Is Ebay/PayPal committing a fraud?

Everyone knows that PayPal charges fees on Ebay’s final value fee, yet no one thinks it is a fraud.

IMHO, PayPal is double charging customers on the money they never stand to collect in a first place.

Ebay final value fee should be subtracted from the total sale price and excluded from PayPal fees.

Do you follow me?

Is this a case of fraud or at least failure to disclose fees ?

It's not fraud. I'm also quite sure they tell you to accept Paypal's terms and conditions before you go and use it, even if it's the #1 promoted way of paying for eBay goods.

It just seems rather odd to me that if I sell something for 100.00 and my fee to Ebay is : 10.00 I still have to pay 4% surcharge on top of it.

Doesn't it make ,automatically, my final value fee higher than what has been stated in Ebay agreement?

I am quite certain Paypal is separate entity that is merely owned by the parent, eBay. I was booted fro m eBay for not allowing foreign buyers to steal from me. When I told them I was a lawyer they ceased responding to me. Eventually they will destroy what was one of the best ideas of our time.
