Were those the cap-toes with the tan canvas vamps? I picked up a pair of those last time...

Argh. I forgot about the sale when I got up this morning, thanks to the temporary loss of all brain control when I get up.

Anyway, I hate you guys for buying all my 10s. Well, I don't hate, but a bit wistful, and very impressed with the speed of consumption. If anyone has a change of heart on their size 10s, that's what PMs are for.

Only one pair for me.

I'm going to have to go console myself at The Polo Mansion over their new crop of EGs.

Which style did you go with?

Also, I noticed that the nice selection of 9Ds is now wiped out.

Whoa, suddenly a ton of 9.5Ds... including those spectators!
Who'd ever thought Grenson would this this popular.

Mine include the double monks, which should be cool. Some simple black captoes, which I actually need. Another interesting one are these tassle loafers that look a lot like shell cordovan: http://www.benniesshoes.com/Merchant...ry_Code=Size75 Chris, do you know if they are cordovan? They definitely look like it.

There were only three pairs of 9.5Ds left a bit ago, all loafers. Now there are 10, including the brown captoes. I wonder if all these came from the same person's cart.

Doc..I went with a pair of 5 eyelet pebble grained oxofrds in chestnut. They are really unique and a style that is not represented in my collection. Other than that, 8.5 was pretty slim pickings. I think I was the first one through to the 8.5 page and the only other shoe I considered was the whole cut with the punch broguing but, in the end, it was a little too similar to a JL Farndon that I have.

I like the looks of them, but what do you wear them with? I'm afraid they'd sit in my closet.

Tan, cream, or a lighter brown. Something in the tan/brown family. I've only worn them a few times, but they always get compliments. The linen isn't white, it actually has a color of its own. Kind of ecru I guess.
