How's the fit on the pullover?

All the comments here had me worried about the fit of the Signature line. From my quick comparison of the chambray work shirt to a J Crew flannel shirt, the fit is pretty much the same for size small. The LL Bean shoulders are a tiny bit wider, but the rest of the shirt seems the same size. Normal Bean shirts are gigantic, with a small being at least the same size as J Crew's medium. I can at least wear this, although it's still not slim. But the shirt is still going back. I tried the deep loden color, thinking a green chambray could be interesting, but the color looks really bad on me. At least it confirms that when the fall line comes out, I can get some Bean flannels, I'm not just relying on J Crew anymore. But I'll also be checking Land's End Canvas, they fit me better than J Crew or LL Bean Signature.

However, I have an athletic build (I'm 6'1", 195lbs) so for most of those on SF who resemble a stick figure, the same fit might not work as well.

As for the placket, I think it sits fine. I only button the bottom one so more of the chambray shows. I think it contrasts well with the red fade color and the navy blue collar.

What size did you order?
I'm just slightly bigger/taller and wanna give these a shot.

I got a large. It had ever so slightly more room in the body than I wanted, but a warm wash tightened it up just fine. I think a large should be perfect on you, just wash it on cold and hang dry.

Anyone pick up or tried on the Plain Weave blazer/pants? Just wondering if it would work as a decent khaki cotton summer suit.

Some new arrivals. All in all, I really like the women's line and really dislike the men's line.

I ordered the Blucher moc's in blue suede. Should be at my place tomorrow - I post up details.

Please do. I really like the look, but I have my doubts about the quality. It'd be nice to be surprised by the quality of an item for a change.

You have doubts about the quality of an LL Bean Item? Where are you from.

Got the mocs in "darkest navy"

Trying to decide whether or not I want to keep them - my concern is they kinda look to much like the blue in my naked and famous weird guys which I wear a lot. They looked great with some chinos/grey denim - but not sure.

They are comfortable and very soft - seem to be of good quality.

I bought the pants in 34/36. At 6'5" 212 with thighs and butt that are a little too muscular for most "designer"pants, these are still loose. The rise is higher than the current norm, but not obscenely so. If I had paid more for these pants, I'd have the legs slimmed. The opening is pretty big.
