Actually, sweatshops in China have gotten a lot better. Many less developed countries these days have it much worse (like countries where the vast majority of poor "15 year old girls" who can't get sweatshop jobs become prostitutes). Every single economist actually considers sweatshops important factors to many Asian countries' developments, haha. So as the countries develop and quality of life improves, generally sweatshop workers are paid more, and sometimes even need better, more expensive tools to make their wares. This is why so many companies no longer make things in China: not because of the stigma, but because its simply getting more expensive. I wouldn't be surprised, with the way quality of life is improving even for the poor in China right now, if China's workers continue to improve the quality of their merchandise.

BTW IM NOT trying to argue the fact that these sweatshops make well made merchandise, as good as the handmade Italian ones, etc. I'm merely pointing out a misconception many in developed nations have about sweatshops.

Let's see pics!!!

So in what country exactly do the majority of 15 year old girls become prostitutes? God, the Chinese are so lucky to have sweatshops to keep their girls from hooking. please.

Check out some footage shot with permission of factory owners in China where mardi gras beads are made: http://www.carnivalesquefilms.com/Mardi_Gras.html.

Yep, we had sweats shops in America. Remember the Triangle Factory fire? Things got better here. For the vast majority of migrant workers in China, things are not better, they're worse now than they were 5 years ago.

would also like to see some pics of the mocs that came in for you guys. Also, how's the fit? TTS? I do a 10.5 in Sperrys, which is quite tight, but it stretches out nicely. Can I expect the same with the camp moc and/or blucher moc?

Thanks

You might want to go down .5 size, depending on what type of socks (if any) you are going to wear with them. I'm a size 8.5 in Indy's and a 9 in Alden Unlined Chukkas (Leydon last). I got a size 9 in these and they are a little big if I have on thin socks.
