ok thanks. that means that is about a 41 american

well, hopefully like most jackets and coats, the actual outer pit to pit measurements is a couple of more inches than the actual labeled 42.
thus , a 22 or 23 inches across rather than a straight 21.

hopefully correct?

only reason why i ask is because i ordered a Marc jacobs grey wrinkle wool blazer from bluebee for 200 dollars in size 52.
i'd be stuck with an albatross around my neck if this thing fits too small.

I doubt that the 42 will measure 21 PP, all of MJ mainline items I've owned ordered are cut true to size, with a slim fit after you do the euro conversion of chest size, by subtacting 10. This means that your 52 should fit like an american suit and likely meausure 22 to 22.5 across to allow for decent chest clearance, but not be oversized by any means. Most items I've seen that measure exactly as tagged around the chest (42 = 21 PP) are things that are made from very slim fitting designers like Geller, RAF, ect. Remember each garment will be different, so I can't say for certain your item won't have chest allowance, but very likely it will.

Got these the last month or so. Common Projects, Unqilo Cardigan and EG Quick Release. GF scored the EG belt for 115.00 from ODIN. They mismarked it, with the price of the D-Ring. So instead of 175.00 she got it for 115.00......SCORE!!!

Pringle Trenchcoat. I was intending to pick up a Burberry or Aquascutum trench during the Jan. sales but am happy with this especially given the price I paid! Just need to pop into the tailors to get a few things altered/tweaked
