haha I don't think I've ever thought that much about whether or not to buy something

My reasons for buying it

Quality, cut, aesthetic for the price. For this mid range niche very difficult to beat for something this practical and wearable.

Needed something warmer than anything else I have since it gets cold some nights.

Exclusivity, it's pretty limited and you won't see many rockin ndg.

not sure if they'll get more m65's because ndg themselves don't have any in a medium. i think blackbird only get the grey in and only have one medium. however, the medium should fit you perfectly. i tried on the large at ndg, but it one size too big, so i know the medium will fit well.

i don't know how you couldn't think about it so much. from blackbird w/o discount it's 618$+ shipping! thats close to $650 for a jacket!

No shipping or tax, negligible impact on total price still though

I am 5'11" and 152 lbs (as of this afternoon in the gym) 39 chest and 30-31 waist, and the medium jacket fits me perfectly. My body shape is pretty can pretty much be described as sheathlike despite my drop - for reference, I fit well into a 50 Dior suit.

JET, I hope you get the chance to wear it sometime soon as it seems SoCal does not want to change into Winter mode quite yet. The only thing I hate about SoCal is the lack of weather changes. As for my current pick ups; White converse chuck taylor lows Vintage Flannel Might go today to pick up the APC moto jacket, still deciding....argh! That NDG M65 makes me go back and forth, I might just wait till I go to NY next week and see what they have.

I know what you mean man but I have a feeling this winter will be pretty chilly for us. That and I always like to stay warm so I think I will get a lot of use out of especially hanging out in the valley all the time like I do. Just get what you want don't settle that's why I went one last time to look at the stuff all around which just validated my decision on this on. I think you'll end up doing the same.

chilly for orange county is 60 degrees. People start dressing in scarves and winter hats to put them away for the 90 degree days!
