I finally received my RRL bootcut from ebay. I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I removed the tag on the back and it looks so much cleaner.

Thanks guys, didn't think ralph lauren would be popular but those do look nice. I wonder if I can find some nice jeans somewhat like those with slightly wider measurements

What size are you? and what size did you get? Did you remove the RRL stitching on the pocket too?

Not all have the back 'RRL' stitching.

True, and I don't know why it's on some and not others. The slims I got off ebay don't but the bootcuts I also got do. From the pics I've seen off other pairs (advan031's included) there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Different years maybe? Same tags, though.

wow, those rrl's look awesome. anyone know how slim the slim rrl's are?
Fit-wise they're not ball-breakers. Per SF'ers recommendations, I went 28x32 when I'm normally a 32x32 and they fit fine initially, although they were a little loose around the waist and tighter in the thighs which suggested to me they're meant to be worn lower on your waist since the rise is only 9". I don't really think of these as "slim", just well cut.

Whodini, which pair are you talking about because I the Lowrise Bottcut that I tried on was too short and pretty tight. Which pair of the two that you own is tighter?

The man asked for the slim RRL's so I responded. I wrote a msg earlier to advan031 saying that the measurements I've seen on 28x32 for both the slim and bootcut, the boot cut has a tighter fit at the waist by a good half inch, maybe more. But that's all measurements-wise. I still won't know until next week when I get home to actually compare the fit between the two.

I usually wear 33 or 34 in Diesel and I got a 34 in RRL slim bootcut and when I measured the waist laid flat it was 17.5". I probably could have fit into 32 or 33 in these.

The fit is idential to RRDS but I've noticed that the backpockets seat a bit higher than RRDS.

from left to right:
Paper Denim SLM's, RB 11 (still gawking at how much I paid for it; amazing construction/detailing though), Paul Frank Long Sleeve, Club Monaco Shirt, Another Club Monaco Shirt, Standard Cloth short sleeve shirt, Modern Amusement short sleeve (got it on sale at UO)

I also purchased a nice military jacket from Club Monaco, it fits perfectly and is really warm for upcoming fall.

nice pick ups. i was able to pick up rb11's on sale, and i love them. i think factory people have them on sale for super cheap and i'm tempted to buy another pair.
