I'm surprised at all the disagreement over 1 button blazers. Why don't we just agree that they usually look best unbuttoned, however they can still look ok when buttoned (but just not as good).


My Wings+Horns blazer (70 cm) has nearly identical length measurements to that of the Lad blazer (71 cm). Despite the W+H having two buttons, I feel it too looks far better unbuttoned due to the shorter length.

I bought these Mr. Olive "tight fit" chinos last month, but had never worn them.... Seeing they were not getting enough love, I decided to try them on today. They fit a skinny guy like myself infinitely better than W+H chinos ever did. They have the perfect amount of slimness combined with a slightly relaxed fit in the leg. Because they are tighter in the hips and thighs than other chinos, they feel like you're wearing a slim fit pair of straight leg jeans instead of some baggy Dockers-like crap. Hip flare is nearly non-existent and taper is minimal. I normally hate chinos, but these ones are quickly winning me over with their high quality fabric and well balanced fit. Since these are an item Mr. Olive makes every season, I am considering getting another pair in the future in different color (perhaps gray or black). Cost was 16,800 yen which is a lot better deal than most of the Japanese stuff.

^^ I have a pair of those too and they're great, but just a little too tight for me (size 33, khaki--anyone interested?) How did you size yours? I usually buy a 32 in jeans, sometimes a 33 and they're pretty tight around my thighs. Great pants though.

^Fit on those chinos look spot on, bb1. The W+H chinos never fit me right either.. Grabbed a Viridi-Anne cardi
