That's overstating it a little. They both have wide knit on a medium-depth V. Otherwise they're different. The Jil fits blockier and is in a much finer fabric. Jil has set-in sleeves vs the other's raglan. Jil apparently has a metallic collar. The target customer overlaps only on styleforum.

Uncontrol, those sneakers would be a step down for you.
