Teger is very right here, always use a steamer if possible. Ironing can easily damage shirt fibers long term, especially if you aren't very good at using one. I never even have to use an iron really, as long as you properly hang your shirts after they are washed they will have very few wrinkles, really no reason to use an iron unless you need to press dress shirts for corporate business or whatever. There is a reason that many clothing stores use steamers strictly to remove wrinkles from clothes. I have been thinking about getting one myself for a while but I just haven't been able to find one that I liked for the money. Used to have to do that shit all the time when I worked in clothing retail, really works very well especially on more delicate materials and its fast as hell.
