jet, i have it in xxl, it is 23.5" across chest, 19.5" across shoulders. i sold an xl which was 22 chest, 19 shoulders.

i believe large is 21.5 chest, 18.5 shoulders

^the one i can get is the simple, basic unadorned one i am wearing in this pic:

It's a very good basic jacket IMHO. The grey ones I saw didn't have brownish/greenish tints though, could it be your camera playing tricks?

Note: there's a dirty brown/grey jacket that almost looks black depending on the lighting but the one you're wearing is much lighter.

^is a shitty iphone pic. i'm wearing it now and it is dove grey. a very light slate color if that makes sense. notice, this one also has no neck snap which i actually prefer but some do not. here's another pic:

Well, I increasingly cannot stand the thought of buying or wearing anything that isn't high quality. I'm less familiar with Uniqlo, but I know Gap is very mediocre quality. Whereas Mr. Olive quality is as good as anybody within their price range, and they are often better quality than a lot of more expensive brands such as Julius.

Maybe if I owned the Uniqlo denim I'd change my mind, but in my experience I usually end up regretting inexpensive purchases like that in the long term. It's usually better to just pay up and get what you know is truly good quality.

Saw Fringe Season 1 Episode 4 last night and one of the guys in the episode reminded me of someone on this page wearing an awesome jacket. Just sayin (I wouldn't be surprised if this has already been mentioned).

was $700. i can usually grab these or the rick's jacket (higher collar, simple too) through a friend for about $750-800 a piece if i can find the size. am happy to try for interested parties, though the uniqlo/j+ proxying is testing my mettle/patience/etc.
