First post in here...over the last month or so I've grabbed some basics. Shipping delays means I'm waiting for both of these. Now, to save for WvG, some 3sixteen, and this Epaulet/Farinelli's shirt-jacket (maybe...)

Excellent choice, I am expecting a Stowa Airman Auto No Logo come monday. Planning on getting a Marine Original whenever I can pony up a grand, the handwound Unitas movement through the sapphire caseback is beautiful beyond words. -Jbreen, if you are looking for nato straps at all, check out www.timefactors.com , they have the most comfortable NATO/RAF bands out there.

Is that a 22MM strap? Where did you find it? I bought a Khaki Field Officer Chrono this summer and I've been looking for a nylon strap: http://www.hamiltonwatch.com/webapp/...on/?c=ka&y=141 Also, if you paid 1195 for that Hamilton you got ripped! My jeweler takes 30 percent off suggested retail pricing, so my Field Officer came to 525

Yes it is 22mm. The field officer chrono is what I have so you have the same watch then? I found it from this place. http://www.thewatchbarn.com/cart/mil...FdZM5QodfnCBsg I didn't pay 1195 for it, I just said that is what retail is.

We don't have the same watch - you hae the chrono, I just have the auto, but according to the website the lugs are the same. Thanks for the link - those seem like pretty decent straps at a solid price! I have a feeling I'm going to have this hamilton for years - I'd really like to get a dressier one like the jazzmaster or traveler, but my jeweler called on about 15 models and demand has been so strong, Hamilton is out of stock on many (or doesn't sell them in the US, so the waiting period is long to get them from Switzerland).

Sometimes. It most likely depends on the manufacturer. Some 'vintage' fits are more fitted than a modern or relaxed fit, but others are more box like. I like the look of the shirt, but just from the picture, there doesn't appear to be much taper in it.

Since you quoted my message, you should have seen the URL from whence the picture came. Anyway, it's the Apolis x SF x Context military shirt, that you can find on Context's web store.
