^^^ Twice a month. Pasadena Rose Bowl for furniture and clothes and the Long Beach flea market for art & jewelry. If we're bored we'll hit up another flea market at the Pasadena College. We're pretty spoilt out here with good finds that have never suffered from damp weather and rain. Thrifting in England is horrendous; everything smells like Grandma's "fadge".

True, I'm not into cars but I had friends who love vintage sportscars and they'd go to Cali to get some even if they lived in New England or something like that.
