I think we could do with more opshopping around here, economy be damned. I just bought two jackets at a 'semi' op shop (place is picky in choosing good used clothes, cleans them up and sells them at very cheap but not op shop prices e.g: $50 for my jacket). Definitely some good things to be had and if you spend your left over cash on tailoring you can end up better than you would buying expensive OTR stuff.

Your lucky living in Melbourne, the op shopping is way better down there. Up here, nothing. Gayness.

Gayness.

You could always try Wynnum. The locals do speak well of their op shops.

I'm not familiar with the term op shop. What does that mean?

Anyway, even though I own two trenchcoats already (an American Eagle and a Burberrys), I couldn't pass this one up. Especially for 5 bucks!

Fit is much better than those other two, and this one is more water repellant. It's a 40R, I usually wear a 42R, so because I usually find London Fog a little big, the size down means it's nice and slim and hits just about an inch above the knee. Perfect. Also has a zip-in liner so I could use this in colder months.

Two pairs of APC New Standards, one indigo and one black. So much for not buying anything until fall stuff rolls in.

And that cool guy who alerted you to thread.

I got some leather Purcells from Teger. One step closer to hipsterdom.
Edited that for you. I think you'll like the Purcells. I have two pair and they are easily one of the most comfortable sneakers I own. My leather pair are way more comfy than my canvas pair.

The timing of it all worked out well for me. I originally ordered the canvas ones from Zappos sized down half a size. Too small in the toecap, so I boxed them up in preparation for an exchange. In the meantime, Teger listed the leather variation for sale at a cheaper price than the canvas ones.

I hope you like em! should reach you soon. am scoping out an NDG jacket...
Just got them in the mail this morning. Much more comfortable than the canvas ones. And not just because they're the correct size.

It's funny how things like that work out. I was coincidentally was reading the old AAxSFxC thread and trying to figure out if I was 100% into the shirt (i was) and then I was struck with the dilemma of sizing and I just was going to try and make the small work bc Context only has XS/S left (prolly was going to be too tight in retrospect).
