Cartier glasses frames on Ebay - fakes?

There seem to be lots of Cartier glasses frames on Ebay for really cheap. Perhaps an obvious question, but are they fake?

I saw them and was also wondering about that. Retail prices are very steep with a huge markup, yet these guys seem to have an unlimited stock of Cartier, Fred, etc.
There is also another problem. If you buy the rimless, someone has to cut and drill the lenses. Usually they are send to a certified Cartier lab and if they are fakes the lab might reject them.

Perhaps someone else could shed light?

Some of them appear to be vintage, from the '70s and '80s when Cartier's Must collection was popular.

How much are Cartier glasses at retail?

They start at about $750 and go up for the wood models or solid gold, etc.

Do you own a pair LabelKing? Can you speak to the quality of Cartier frames?
I don't own a pair but they seem to be high quality. Generally, Cartier items are not cheaply made unlike certain other designer labels.

Thanks. I'll have to drop by Cartier next time I'm in San Francisco, I don't think I saw any frames in their Palo Alto store. :/ Or maybe I'm just blind XD
