Sorry for the terrible pictures - I took it with a webcam. Can you guys please honestly critique the shirt, size, color etc.?

Thanks guys.

It's a little bit loose in the chest compared to the waist, or tight in the waist compared to the chest, depending on how you look at it. Can't tell about the neck. Sleeves might be a tad short and could be slimmed down a bit. Can't tell what the color is, but it looks fine against your skin tone. Shoulders might be a bit wide? Hard to tell. Overall impression is very nice.

I'll try and get some proper pictures up for the shirts that I wear and would want absolute criticism about the fit and size. I should be getting some proper photos in about 2- 3 weeks. Thanks guys.

Is it just me or are the cuffs on the shirt much too large for your wrist size? It could be the picture or it could be that I'm mistaken...at any rate.

What will the right measurements of french cuffs be for someone's wrist which is 7.25 inches in circumference? Much appreciated.

The colour is pink and the cotton is 3 ply 100% cotton in la coste pattern weaving - don't really know what LaCoste pattern is personally.

Where should the monogram be? Thanks for the input.

It is considered a bit immodest to have a monogram in a very visible spot like the cuffs. Some options to consider: inside the yoke, left breast or lower on the body, or elbow.

ok - will do!

The cuff is not an unacceptable placement for monogram. It is just usally closer to the fold. A less bold color would be nice. a Pale blue or silver is not as noticable as navy blue or black.

I usually add 2.75-3" to the actual wrist measurement. .25-.5" more to acommadate a watch.

Ihave been doing this for over 20 years. I have never heard of "3 ply 100% cotton in la coste pattern weaving."

Where was this shirt made?

Hi Carl, I have to correct what I posted last night or this morning. the shirt is a 3 ply Egyptian cotton with patterns labeled la coste or bird's eye material. I do not know why they label it as such. Here is a picture of the material: Hope this helps. Kevin.

The main thing that bothers me about the shirt isn't the monogram - though if I get monograms they're always at the bottom of the sleeve placket - but the incongruity of French cuffs with a button-down collar. Also, I echo others about the cuffs needing to be tighter.

Were you in thailand to be measure, or was this mail order?

I hope it was inexpensive!

I still have no clue as to what sort of fabric you could have had this shirt made of.
The photos were not showing up.
