Comprehensive physical for unexplained fatigue?

In short, I've been having some strange fatigue issues for the past few months the cause of which I've been unable to pinpoint. The obvious first course of action was to consult my GP, but so far her suggested treatments have been fruitless and honestly I think she's barking up the wrong tree. So my question is, could it be worthwhile to have one of those multi-day, multi-specialist physicals to try and get some insight into the problem, or are those just be a load of unnecessary diagnostics designed to separate rich people from their money? Should I just try another GP?

Have you done full blood work, including hormone levels and all that?

The test results I just got back have numbers for fasting blood sugar, kidney function, liver, electrolytes, complete blood count, thyroid, and "other (biz)", whatever that means. If any medical experts want to read a more comprehensive description of my symptoms (read: long), here's a post I made on WebMD. One relevant thing I forgot to mention is I'm physically exhausted by exercise a lot more easily than I was at this time last year. http://boards.webmd.com/webx?THDX@@....hild=.89e005c8

If you're a guy and having energy issues, blood sugar and testosterone levels are the first things i'd be concerned about. But I am not a doctor.

I'd see another doc. If it's a lot of unexplained fatigue, then I'd definitely get it checked out.

Any recent lifestyle changes? If not, what is your typical diet? Drinker? Smoker? Could be bad habits are finally catching up to you?

What did your thyroid profile come back as? You should post it on a message board that deals with HRT/TRT. They know their shit there.

I had strange fatigue caused by Lyme disease ten years ago or so. You might get tested for that.

Get your blood tested for iron levels. You could be anemic. I've felt the same way before, the lethargy and foggy head. After about 10 days of taking Iron and Vitamin B12, I feel a lot better. If you do take iron, take it with orange juice. It helps with absorption.
