Meh.

I knew of someone who was considering buying a plane that was previously owned by a small african nation, pricedway under market and for a good reason.. Let's just say it was simultaneously the most pimped out plane ever, and was in the worst mechanical condition ever.

My memory might be playing tricks on me, but I am 90% sure there were leopard skins involved.

The sad part is that I really really miss it... Was never at a BB or anything, but at a smaller, maybe funner place. Had a ton of other friends in finance, big names, big money, and now they are working in at industry jobs or other this like that or still unemployed. Sad, sad, sad, sad.

Yeah. Sad.

The whole BOA thing reminds me of a friend who made a brilliant career in IB at BOA, yes, smalltimer BOA before the crash. But he wanted to be a bigtimer and so he went to a "real" investment bank. Only to be laid off 6 months later and to be completely shut out of comparable jobs.
