^^ how big is that lobe and how much do you pay? I've seen lobes from $55 to 110 plus, all advertised as top quality. Any rec's? And weighing "1-1.5" lbs I think I pay around $10 for 2 oz's locally

Believe it or not, someone gifts those lobes to me. Hudson Valley, top quality, think about $150'ish each.

K, there was two pieces there, and if you plan to eat much more at a meal, those are plenty big enough. Foie is sooo rich and filling. I've done a double portion before, and it's really just overkill and ruins the rest of your meal.
