I plan a trip to Prague this coming october and was wondering if there are any good shoe-makers in this city...............Was thinking that maybe some sort of austro-hungarian equivalent maker could be found, but no search-engine was able to locate any.
I would appreciate your help, many thanks........

I would guess there are ling traditions there to since they are home to a large (mass market) brand.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/obituaries/article4707935.ece BATA, say what you want about quality in this day and age, but they started early and have long history. Cant be the only ones ... I for one am curious, for Czech sources.

Make a side trip to Budapest and go see Marcell Mrsan at Koronya. I picked up my new bespoke wholecuts (pictured on his blog) today and I am extemely pleased. I will write more about the process (ordered through Rosenbaum's in Brooklyn) shortly. As Fabro stated earlier, Marcell is the real deal and he can make anything you want.

thank you, but I will only be going to Prague with the missus and the daughter, so I just thought that I could escape for a few hours to visit some Czech shoe-maker if there is any left in Prague.
When I urge for some Vass or Koronya's I plan a trip to Budapest. And yes it is pretty easy for me to travel in Europe as I am based in Geneva.
