That's an interesting idea. Any thoughts on if or when Duck Phillips would make a return to Sterling-Cooper or was he finished shortly after the end of Season 2?

Yeah I was wondering about the appeal of Ann-Margaret, her singing abilities, and the movie in general. Looking at it from a musical perspective it was an interesting idea; to have the intro sung with the characteristics of a 14 year old girl madly in love with Birdie(?), ended with a reprisal sung with the emotion of a woman who grew up and is more aware of how lousy Birdie truly was. At least that was my understanding of the concept; mind you I haven't seen the movie myself. I had to listen to both variations a few times before even being able to detect the subtle differences between the two. The arrangement of the rhythm section was interesting though. To me it wasn't just the shrilling voice, her singing sounded a bit off key to me and I hated how she pronounced Birdie as "bird-hee". Paris Hilton of the 60s? Maybe, but at least Ann-Margaret had talent.
