I appreciate the offer but I don't want you to go out of your way. I'll probably end up ordering it along the line somewhere. Since the map's not functioning list your city and I'll add it to the roster.

Honestly I have more than I'll use, and logistically it doesn't make a difference to me either way whether I start it or you do.
I am in Spring, TX. Maybe I should change my location listing.

Well I've got the L'Artisan Tea for Two you want to try so it's 6 of 1 1/2 dozen of the other. I cocked this up so I'll start. How's this for a rule: Everyone must contribute a sample from their personal collection, not just leftover samples that they no longer want. We can hope for several but I think at least one is a good start.

1.5 - 2.5ml. Nothing too big but enough to get a few samples out of.
Cool - just picked up these:

It might be neat if everyone picked up some of those cheap atomizers/sample bottles, and decanted what they wanted to include. Or they could feel free to put in full sized bottles of what they don't need/want/use that they currently own. This is how The Shave Den (wasn't B&B) box worked. People could do whatever they wanted with the products included so long as they didn't noticeable shrink the contents (other than times when the box got so large that shipping was appalling). Expanding it beyond cologne into skin care products and shaving products could make it even more interesting. Get people more into wet shaving, allow those just starting to try things, or allow established wet shavers to sample products they haven't seen or don't own.

Bleh, sorry all about the map. I forgot to make it "anyone can collaborate", so it should be up and running now, check it again. I figured it all out... So basically, you have to hit "save to my maps", then you'll see the option to "edit" (top left), then you'll see the option to place a marker with your name next to the zoom, then save/"done"... (the point is that you have to have a google/gmail account to be able to edit the maps). OK about the seeding. I think as long as the package is carefully labelled something else it should be all good for Canada. up to you guys how to handle this, I'm happy to join, but if it's a pain in the ass I can skip this one. Also, thanks AK for the ebay link, I've been snagging those from sephora but the sales staff are getting to know me :-( alright, time to go pretend to do some work....
Yeah, sounds good. I was planning on throwing in a few samples of shaving creams and some random skin stuff anyway. I also think the fragrance samples could be a mix and match of whatever, but personally I was planning on filling mini bottles as decants from my full ones and then just labelling them.

I agree that the shave and body products could make it very interesting but how much shit can we stuff inside the box? It might start getting a bit large after a while.

Do you guys want to use something like this, or is it overkill...
basically a spreadsheet with a list of what you've got available and if anyone wants to reserve it up front, or if anyone has a wishlist that someone else could fill...
Google Document Spreadsheet of Fragrance Swap samples
(I'll fill out my stuff this evening, just at work now)

What if two people want it? Is it fair to give to the first and not the second? I don't know if reservations are the way to go. I still think that the take in whatevers in the box and put back what you've got will be the best way to keep everyone happy. I'm sure there's bound to be interesting things for everyone.
