Hi, there

Hello from Bangkok. I just got this one. I can't find any detail about this bag colour detail. All i know about this bag is the, small bag in Tin cloth , hardwood camo. Any idea?

Thank you so much!

I don't mind paying a little more for your 256 if it's brown or navy.

Some collab between Filson and another brand most likely.

Looking to get a Filson of some sort for travelling.

When we do travel it's mostly by car, there is the odd flight to visit friends in the US from time to time, what I am not sure about is what to get.

Narrowed it down to these, if anyone has any input that would be much appreciated.

Medium duffle bag

Large Twill carry on travel bag - I understand this will fit in the overhead of a plane, can anyone confirm?

Pullman

What say you???

Thanks in advance.

I can't wait for my navy 256! It is arriving from brooks brothers tomorrow. I was split between navy and tan, but chose navy in the end because the tan seemed a little hipster. However, since my wardrobe consists of more earth tones than grays/navy, I might end up exchanging the navy for a tan. We'll see. I am excited nonetheless!

I never, ever would have made that association. Can't go wrong with navy, though. tongue.gif

I would think that's all the more reason to stick with Navy.  Navy goes well with earthtones, but you don't leave the house clad head to toe in different shades of khaki.

Pullman

I have a medium duffle and a pullman. i carried my pullman on two different week-long trips to the uk from california. it barely made the carry on restrictions and had enough space for the trips (2 suits, extra dress shoes, etc.). The pullman also does well with fold-flat dress clothing. The duffle isn't as big inside--it's better for weekend trips and such. hope this helps...

If you think that a $200+ bag in tan is hipster and a navy one isn't... well, methinks that maybe you doth protest too much.

^^ I agree with the Pullman.
Mine has met the carry-on restrictions every time (despite the glaring looks from many of the attendants), and is a black hole as far a packing goes. Absolutely the best choice if you're planning on traveling more then 2-3+ days. My only issue with the Pullman is that when fully packed it can weigh a ton and long treks across the airport...especially when you have to sprint from A to D terminal in Atlanta... can be rough.

Pullman all the way.  I've been hammering for about 2 months now.  I really like having 2 separate compartments and it does fit in the overhead.  As long as you don't stuff this thing to max capacity, you'll be fine.

I bought the Original Sportsman from Indigo & Cotton on sale ($200 or so) on its way to me now. Looks gorgeous, and I had been going back and forth between it and a pullman for a while. I think for the time being, it'll be better, since most trips I take are only for a weekend, and don't need all the pullman's storage space.

Tan waxed twill + otter green tin cloth just looks amazing.

Cabourn x Filson for FW 14. Looks like there are bags in addition to the jackets.

This is all I can find (scroll about half-way down)
