Good choice, I am packing my Pullman this weekend for hunting pheasant in SD for the next 2 weeks. The Pullman is a lot bigger than I thought then when I ordered it. Love it.

Few years back I won a $100 gift certificate to Joe's for placing first in a sporting clays shooting event at the Horse And Hunt Club. I've spent a fair amount of money at Joe's since then LOL. I'm trying to NOT pick up another bag or jacket right now, however resistance is futile..........

Looks like a hell of a jacket, if it was just a little bit longer... I've had the Outfitters XL bag in my cart 3 times today. But so far have resisted the "need" and keep deleting it. Think I'm going to regret it in the morning.

There's an XL version of the coat.

Also, any recommendations for a duffle bag that can hold clothes for a weekend? Is the medium large enough for this?

I'm pretty sure I've got a spare new strap lying around the house. PM me your info and I can check tonight to see if I still have it.

As far as the duffle goes, i've never owned a medium. I had a small, which worked great for weekends. I've since replaced it with a Sportsman, which has similar capacity, but contains more compartments.

Ordered a 256 and a tote, thanks for the heads up the sale. Then again, not sure I needed either...

I can't decide whether to get a Tan 256 or a Tan Rucksack. Does anyone know if you can get the shoulder pads from the Vans x Filson one from Filson like you can the handle grip? I've heard the straps on the Rucksack can be pretty uncomfortable. I already have a 257 in Otter but it's a little large.

I'm spending too much money ffffuuuu.gif

Damn Joes!

I just pulled the trigger on the 222 in tan and the moleskin fleece in navy.

Who's quoting $70? I was just at the Filson store in Seattle last week and they said a replacement strap for the briefcases (I asked specifically for the 256) was $42.

You're right. I just checked the email they sent and it is indeed $42. Anyway, I ordered the medium travel bag. Do you think I can switch that strap off with the 257, or will it be too long?

I think I'm going to go with the Rucksack. I looked at it's dimensions and it's only  2" wider than a Jansport backpack (I'm a college student, that's what I have the most experience with lol), however I've heard it can be quite large. I'm 5'6 and 130lbs, am I gonna look ridiculous wearing this? Also, any info on padding for the strap (whether we can buy the Vans X Filson ones from Filson, or another suitable alternative) would be appreciated.
