Decent bourbon, though maybe a bit overpriced.. But how the hell do they explain the fact that this 'never-mass-produced-bourbon' can be found in any decent liquor store around the world? What is the size of their batch then?

My favorite grocery store bourbon, no question

I have had dozens of bourbons.

Never had Maker's Mark, and never intend to. Not sure why, just no interest. I wondered the same thing, the stuff is everywhere..

I actually like MM. It's my go-to when I don't find anything else interesting on the shelves.

It's pretty average IMO. I'm not much of a fan, but will certainly drink it if nothing else is around.

Maker's is good stuff. There's a good article about them in the past Mutineer magazine. They do make a lot of bourbon but they make it as if they were a small distillery, just on a larger scale, if that makes any sense.

I actually find the claim "America's only small batch bourbon" very disturbing, and very misleading.

I was wondering about that. I don't understand how brands get away with saying things like this.

Must be the very fine print that goes on to read: that stores its barrels in a yellow barn and has a master distiller named Jim Bob McJim
