Brylcreem?

How do I apply this stuff?

I just put it on the tips of my fingers and rubbed it into my hair for a nice shine, seems to work fairly well but I should probably use some more. It didn't really go well in the back and the sides of the hair andisn't 'strong' like gel or wax. Nice smell, though.

I put about a dime size in my palm and rub them together and then smooth over my hair but I have short hair so you may need more.

+1, same...

Also, applying it to dry, damp, or wet hair will give different amounts of shine and weight.
Also, rubbing it in at the base of the hair versus smoothing it on top of your hair versus brushing it in thoroughly will also give you different results...
