Eagles got him, 1.6 million for his first year. Why would they get Vick, when they have McNabb?

Doubt it. Vick and Mcnabb were often compared. They were the few Mobile QBs the NFL had.

Vick declined to play for Syracuse because he felt he would be playing in McNabb's shadow. I find this interesting/ironic.

mcnabb just signed a new deal...his job is still completely safe. im not sure y he would have a problem with this

How would you feel if someone who just spent two years in prison perform better than you? It might not be likely, but it is a scary possibility.

ill just assume you dont keep up with football much...McNabb is that franchise, he has been the premier player for almost a decade. he is the peyton manning of philly. vick could have 4 consecutive preseason games with a perfect rating (which he hasnt come close to in his career even once) and still not even be considered a contender for the qb role. the team belongs to mcnabb hell, i wouldnt be surprised if the eagles make him a receiver/rb/return man.
