I know very little about Brazil or Argentina, but as I understand it, aren't the models there just europeans who migrated there so many generations ago? Or is there actually some mixing with the native populations and african-heritaged groups to form a different type of beauty? I've never been to denmark or the netherlands, but do they really look different than white americans? Often times a blonde chick looks hot at first glance, but once you're with 'em a while you realize it's just a plain face under all that; that's just going to turn into a gertrude housewife eventually. Netherlands has statistically the tallest population on earth, maybe that has something to do with it. I dunno, a blonde doesn't really have that 'shock' factor unless she's like ultra-platinum blonde or something, or maybe has those finnish asiatic type eyes.

I've been to nearly every country in Asia over a period of several years, and I've noticed the 'grass is greener' phenomena there as well. For one, I've realized the asian-american girls I thought were hot in the US are nothing compared to the real thing. I've also noticed that the asians themselves have a pretty much uniform idea of what a hot girl looks like in their native culture, from japan all the way to indonesia- usually it's a very white-skinned, sort of half chinese/half european looking girl with big round eyes... each country claiming they have natives that look like her. If you're objective enough not to fall for the advertisments and commercials promoting this phenotype, you'll notice there's also plenty of dark-skinned asian girls that are profoundly hot... the best I've seen being in Indonesia.

It's the latter, actually. In Brazil and other countries close by, you get a lot of European blood (particularly, Portuguese and German) mixed in with African and Latina. It's a good combination. I'm not claiming it's got a 100% hit rate, because what genetic mix does? But when it works, it works extremely well.

I think there's something to be said about the beauty that can be produced with racial mixing. The "half Asian, half white" look you describe actually does describe a few half-Asian, half-white girls I've met before. They're really hot. You get a sort of vaguely Asian-looking girl with softer facial features and, occasionally, a really cool feature like green or light hazel eyes.

Anyway, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before one of SF's resident racists barges in and shits all over this conversation. Until then, let me just say that I am a big fan of biracial chicks.
