Figured this would be common knowledge but was reading another thread elsewhere and seems like a lot of people don't know.
Cell companies (at least AT&T who I'm with does so I'm assuming others do as well) offer a discount off of your monthly plan if you work for certain companies or go/went to a particular school.
Go to this website (for AT&T) http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/?WT.svl=3 and enter your e-mail address (has to be official through work or school) to see if you qualify and for how much. You might also be able to find out from your place of employment if you don't have a work e-mail as I think you can take proof of employment into a store as well.
Discount will vary depending. May be as little as 4% or as much as 35%. I don't think it applies to phones although it might to accessories. Usually only discounts your actual monthly bill.
