24 hours in San Francisco (Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon).....

Trying to come up with a list to do in SF this Sunday-Monday. I'll be staying at the Grand Hyatt in Union Square...looking to do some cool, local stuff with some night time drinking. Any suggestions? Probably an afternoon snack, dinner, bar/nightlife (on SUNDAY?), breakfast and lunch. Only thing so far I've bookmarked is Swan Oyster Depot, which seems to get good buzz on Yelp and I've seen on several shows. Also saw an old link for Absinthe....saw that Chris Costanzo (or whatever) dude on Anthony Bourdain the other day...thinking about hitting his restaurant up maybe? http://www.yelp.com/biz/incanto-san-francisco also, any must-sees for Shopping? also random stuff...i've done alot of the touristy stuff though.

also looking for cougars, if that helps.

I like Swan, and Absinthe. For cougars, I guess I would probably go to the Bal. They make a pretty good burger, as well.

Balboa Cafe. Fillmore near Union. Owned by our illustrious mayor. You might try the Matrix Fillmore across the street as well.

Absinthe Brasserie is cool. I'm also a huuuuuge fan of Bourbon and Branch, despite the Disney Land appeal of it. If you want cocktails done right, that's the place to go. Sure, the password schtick is cheesy, but they know what's up with their drinks.

On the more casual side, I kind of feel hitting Boudin in the Wharf is a must. Breadbowl with crab and corn cowder is absolutely delicious.

did 24 hours on Sunday.

Stayed @ Grand Hyatt. nice hotel, nice location..no pool though. sucked for that but close to shopping.

walked around a bit...met up friend at Girodano Bros in North Beach area....cool place, nice sandwhiches which are supposedly like Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh. then walked up to Coit Tower after wards, went up the elevator, saw view....then a few drinks back in some bar in North Beach... back to hotel to chill and some light shopping. Went to House of Nanking for Dinner in the north beach area again...saw a line earlier decided to check out....tired from the day of walking so just chilled.

next day....just walked around union square area, shopped, ate breakfast at hotel and then lunch at Swan Oyster Depot....went to MoMA too..just the gift shop though.

back to LA. nice city, great vibe, real people!
