Does Your Partner Encourage You to Exercise?

You can talk about past relationships, too. It would be particularly interesting to hear why the other half has/had that attitude toward exercise.

Some have, some haven't. If they have it's because they like the body I have/had and wanted it to be maintained. Usually I have to encourage them to.

Yes and no.

She encourages me because she know that I find it important. Otherwise, I think she could care less. Sometimes I think she sees the time I spend at the gym as competition for my attention to the relationship. I

The good news is my wife and I are both into fitness, generally working out five to six days per week. The bad news is, a common interest in such activity can become a bit pricey....when you go forward with building out a home gym!

My girlfriend is naturally thin and just wants to eat pizza all the fucking time and not exercise. It's great that she doesn't get fat, but I do

Not sure she encourages it, but she told me I had let myself go. I went from 5'11 135lbs to 165lbs over 3 years due to inactivity and large amounts of good food and alcohol, both largely encouraged by her. So now she tells me to exercise.

Seems that there is nothing more encouraging/motivating that when you want to achieve something with a purpose.
