How many days per workweek do you "do something" at night?

Workweek defined as Sunday-Thurs. That is 5 workweek nights in a week.

How many of these nights do you do something? I define something as going out of the house and making an effort. Watching a movie with your wife does not count. Catching a ballgame does. Having some drinks with the boys does. Playing scrabble with your kids does not. Going out on a date or meeting up with a hookup to get some ass does count. But doing your wife (WifeSex©) does not really count. Use induction to figure out the rest. It's intuitive.

im driving some balls @ chelsea piers in a few days. so that'd be the 'something' for this week.
usually its like friends coming into the city and grabbing a drink.

Bingo. Add 14 years on onto your clock, and see how that feels too.

I'm in between jobs so if I didn't "do something" at least five times a week I'd probably end my life.

It depends.. On average probably 2-3, but I've done five. Living in the middle of a large city, close to your friends and entertainment will do that to you. Now that I think about it, I usually do Sun, Tue, Wed or Thu nights.. And then Fri + Sat.

through most of the year, ideally twice a week, but in the spring my friends and I golf most days, but I still suck. (110ish on average)

Average about 2. Some weeks it feels like I am out every night. Others (like this one) I dont want to go out at all.

I've started to cut out the ones that are more obligation than fun.

I think this is also heavily dependent on what time people get home from work on average. When I am getting home at 9 or so it is hard for me to get out there and still get enough sleep for the next day. If someone has a job that ends at 6 every day, I can understand doing something most nights.

do gym/boxing/dodgeball/exercise count as 'something'?

I dunno. I wouldn't count lifting or cardio, but boxing or dodgeball seem more social so maybe.

then I'm going with 4-5. This week will be all 5 I guess... Sun night, sorta-date then went for a drink with the boys. Mon night, dinner with a couple of friends Tues night, boxing Wed night - drink with client, just about to leave Thurs night - will go to boxing, then a friend from Singapore coming to town, going to dinner with her...

Does hosting people for dinner count? It usually involves consumption of at least 3 glasses of wine.
