They have both. They have probably the biggest selection of Levi's I've seen in town.
Bunch of colors of STFs too.

And they keep changing the cut of 501s. Apparently the prewashed 501s are more relaxed than the STFs which are apparently regular in the seat but "comfortably relaxed" on the prewashes

i do agree low rise flatters you if you're muscular AND still manage to look lean. I can pull off low rise pants and did wear them for a long time... but lately ive steered toward a longer rise. for some reason... on this one aspect i am becoming more traditional.

Actually I don't think you can look like a gay cowboy at all, just...gay.

The cut is a classic, but I have yet to see a decent wash, or high-quality denim to justify wearing them. So, the cut is cool, but denim quality/washes are **** = uncool. Unless its a drunken backyard bbq party, then who cares

The way they're worn by 95-99% of the male population, yes. As in, washed every week. As in, purchased without taking inseam shrinkage into account. As in, purchased with a waist about 10" smaller than they should be. Imagine:

Middle aged 50-ish male with a 40" waist, still rocking a 29" waist. Belly spilling over like Niagara Falls. The inseam so short that the jeans fall a half foot off the ground. Washed and worn so frequently, they are now baby blue speckled with white. Yeah, real cool.

I think it is highly individual. I compete in powerlifting competitions...means I have a huge ass and thighs. For whatever reason, almost all low rise cuts manage me make me look like I have a flat, flabby ass.

I wish I would have discovered the Levi STF 501s a long time ago... best fitting pair of jeans I have ever owned.

Always been cool to me. As a mod in the 80's, used to wear them with a small turn up.

All depends how and where they are worn. They are a good fitting casual jean that is fine if you are just hanging out. If you want to wear a better quailty shirt and shoes and you are going to dinner or out for drinks then they are too casual. This is mostly due to the small back pockets, stitching and red tab.

To each his own but I actually think that jeans with a higher rise (10-12") look much better then most of the low (9" or less) rise jeans. Yes some guys can make the low rise look work for them but most men are better off wearing jeans with the higher rise.

I love these jeans. Have a pair in Stone or whatever the color is called, basically classic. Usually wear them with dark brown Wallabees and a striped oxford of some kind.

A lot of people wear 501's. Many buy them in their actual inseam, wash them, and wind up with high waters, capri style pants revealing white athletic socks.

Or, you get people wearing 501's in the size they wore in high school and they are no longer in high school if you know what I mean.
