Obenauf's will darken leather a fair bit. it will lighten a little with time, though.

hey so i got obeanufs and put it on all my leather items and its great ...

however a little of the LP got on some fabric. its not a huge deal but i was wondering if there was a simple wya to remove it

Did you have any luck finding Obenaufs locally in DC or did you end up ordering some?

I never used Obenaufs but Dr Marten "wonder balsam" is basically the same product and easily to get on zappos or dmusastore.com

Just used it on three pairs of boots and two pairs of shoes. Great stuff. My loafers had some alcohol stains and not I can't see them anymore... It's going on all my boots and a lot of my shoes.

i actually never found it in DC (found sno-seal, which is also great) but just purchased direct from obenaufs online and got it shipped to me

Can the second coat be applied immediately when the shoes are no longer shiny/oily (so like 10 minutes) or when it's had time to absorb (like a few hours or next day)???
