Yeah, especially with the really weird rankings in the last few hours. Jesus, I really hope that cross-dresser is NOT in the top 10. We were making a good showing - 2 out of 10.

Hello gentlemen,

I just joined Styleforum after reading your comments on the Mad Men Casting Call contest. I too had been in the top 10 for over a week strong (with an army of dedicated voters a couple thousand strong) and last night within the final few hours, I somehow ended up on page 5...miles away from the leader board it seemed. I couldn't agree more with the posts you've been laying down out here. Other contestants are talking about cheat software. That is way out of my league, but do you suppose it could be the case? How on earth do generic MySpace/mirror shots, tacky headshots and guys with their shirts off beat out folks who truly pulled off a genuine Mad Men look? Anyway, your posts...many of them, kept it a bit more real for me as it was good to see others that were experiencing the same I was...plus some of them were funny as hell! Glad I stumbled upon this great site.

I was also all over the site last night. I stared at page 84, made it down to 2 then ending somewhere on page 6. I don't know how some of the prom and shirtless photos were ever approved by their admin's. I shut the computer off at 11.

If and when the AMC site is back up let see who the grand prize winner is. Probably someone sad.

Doesn't work for me either. Site is giving a '403 error' which I believe means 'Forbidden or blocked IP address'. What is this 'Mad Men' thing anyway?
