So after searching this site it seems as have the same dilemma as many...searching for a new haircut...
I am going into full time work, where I will be wearing a full suit and tie everyday. I want something professional but not something that if I go for drinks with my friends afterwords then I look like a dweeb.
My thought it to go to a salon and explain exactly this. I want something very short, almost a buzz cut, but that i can mess around a tad bit, wear with a suit, but not look like a deusch.
1. Will this explanation work for a stylist? I must admit I have been going to cheap barber shops my entire life and am uncertain what to expect in this environment.
2. Is it worth going to the salon for this?
3. Has anyone ever brought in pictures of hair cuts they like? And does this work? I know they have those books with all the cuts but I am not sure if that is common practice. (I have yet to find something I really like anyway).
If anyone does have some photos of cuts similar to what I mentioned, that would be awesome. But any response is appreciated.
