A few APC Rescue questions - Page 2

As long as we've got an APC thread going, anyone know the leg opening on a pair of rescues? I've got the Anglaise, and am looking for a slightly narrower jean (NS would be too tight for me), with a leg opening that won't swallow my shoes. Also considering RRDS, but that opening is a little large, too.

Should've tried them on in the APC store, dammit.

don't have any denim near me to measure. but if the RRDS opening is big, why not SSDS?

I really have to try this stuff on; I don't have the build for skinny jeans (which I thought the Straight Sven was?), but I'd like a smaller leg opening. The consensus seems to be that the rescue is a slightly shrunk anglaise, right? That would suit me, but I'd like to know how wide they are at the ankle.

SS are lower rise than RR, but mauro of the denim bar brought a pair of each out and showed me the difference. they are like 95% the same cut, SS is just straight the whole way down versus RR having the slight (and i do mean slight bootcut). so SS isn't really skinny jeans in the vein of APC NS or other jeans ppl get ball crushingly skin tight. i dont have the build for skinny jeans either, so i feel you. all i can say is i love my rescues. and my reg ralphs. i'm sure some here will be able to measure the openings. if not, i'll do it when i get home tonight (though that wont be for like another 8 hours).

Hmm. I've tried on the RR, and liked the cut in the waist and thigh. Maybe SS will do. Maybe, just maybe, I should drive a few minutes and actually try them on. Or just wait until Denimbar opens in Bethesda.

I'd second that. The opening on the Svens will depend on what size you're getting, but IIRC it'll probably be somewhere around 9" (18" circumference). I'm pretty sure that's close, even if it's not right on the money.
