FS: Used Oxxford Suit 44R

Amazing OXXFORD suit (for Neiman Marcus), Manhattan Aristocrat Cachet size 44R. Quarter Lined with subtle, pick stitching detail. I believe this is fully canvassed. This is a pre-owned, older model suit and worn by me no more than three-four times after I had some tailoring work. The fabric has an incredibly smooth hand, and the high construction quality is evident. The suit is very versatile and appropriate for interviews and business.

I wish you were taller, I'm not even in the market but I'd snag that Oxxford.

Well, I'm about 5'10", and since the rise is a bit longer, the inseam is shorter, keeping a slight break. I can imagine getting another half inch or so keeping the cuff, or you can about another couple of inches or slightly less with no cuff.

Price drop on the Oxxford.

Which cut?

Is the vent sewn closed?

Also, those measurements on the jacket seem to be more for a 40 or a 42.

No. Looks like it from the inside shot, but the vent is open.

The jacket shoulders and chest are definitely for a 44R - look how it fits in the pic. A little big on me as I am now more a 42-43. The sides were taken in already, so it is slimming.

It's a Manhattan (Aristocrat Cachet). Not sure how it compares to the Gibbons. The chest has a light canvass to it, and the shoulders are lightly padded, but definitely more structure than you'd find in Italian cut jackets. The jacket is certainly very comfortable.

The only thing that looks good on my that I've tried from Oxxford is the Gibbons, but I haven't tried this model. I'm thinking about it because its such a good price.

If I read these measurements right, this suit has a drop of 10-11". Is that normal for Oxxford?
