I'm off to New York City from August 26 - August 29. I've been a few times before and done most of the touristy stuff, but I was hoping some locals could recommend any new plays / comedy venues / shows or just general "don't miss it!" stuff to do. I'll be shopping (as much as my budget will allow!) but also want to see some cool things!

I saw the Russian Tea Room has re-opened since the last time I visited, I've always wanted to check that place out.
